Ticket FAQs
Are ticket prices always the same?
With Meany Center’s Plan Ahead Pricing, single ticket prices may increase based on market demand. We recommend ordering early for the best selection of seating at the best prices.
Meany Center has introduced two additional pricing zones to provide patrons with more choice. To ensure events are accessible to more people, every performance now includes a limited number of $25 tickets in Zone 4 that may be purchased when single tickets go on sale.
Can I exchange my ticket?
Yes! Exchanges must be made prior to curtain on the day of your performance.
Exchange are FREE to subscribers. Subscribers to the 2025-26 Season may make exchanges beginning July 29, 2025.
The processing fee to exchange tickets is $6 per Regular ticket and $3 per UW Student ticket. Exchanges are FREE to subscribers, on subscriptions and extra tickets.
UW Department of Dance, School of Drama and School of Music events have a $3 per ticket processing fee. There is no fee to exchange subscription tickets. Visit the ArtsUW Ticket Policies page for more information about academic performances.
If the new tickets are more expensive than the exchanged tickets, you will be charged the difference. If new tickets are less expensive than the exchanged tickets, the difference in price is not refunded.
To exchange your tickets, you may contact the ArtsUW Ticket Office at [email protected] or by calling 206-543-4880 with your ticket numbers. Ticket numbers are located in the upper left hand corner of your tickets.
I selected “PDF Tickets” as my delivery method. Where are they?
After purchasing online, you will receive two emails: an Order Confirmation email and a separate PDF ticket email with a PDF attachment. Check your spam, junk or promotions tab in case the email lands there.
PDF tickets come from [email protected] with the subject line “PDF Tickets for your ArtsUW Show.” PDF tickets can be shown to the ushers on your mobile device, or can be printed. If printing, make sure to print all pages of the attachment.
Subscription tickets for the 2025-26 Season will be sent out in early August.
Does Meany Center sell tickets on other ticketing sites?
Remember, meanycenter.org is the authorized ticket seller for Meany Center events. Over the past year we've seen an increase in activity by ticket resellers. Always make sure to purchase directly from meanycenter.org or tickets.artsevents.washington.edu and to look carefully at the URL of any ticket purchasing site.

I lost my ticket! What do I do?
Lost your printed or PDF tickets? Contact the Ticket Office in advance of your performance at [email protected] or 206-543-4880 to have your tickets reprinted. Alternatively, you can log into your ticket account at tickets.artsevents.washington.edu/account and a copy of your tickets will be available to scan at the front door. Tickets appear 48 hours in advance of your event.
Tickets can also be reprinted at the Box Office within one hour of the performance.
What are my options if I cannot attend a show?
If for any reason you are unable to attend an event and know so prior to a performance, you can:
- Exchange into a different show
- Donate your ticket(s)
- Receive a full refund for your ticket(s)

Can I donate my tickets?
Donate your tickets back to Meany Center and along with our gratitude, we will send you a donation acknowledgement letter that may be used for tax purposes. The donation amount will be the face value of your tickets not including fees or parking. To donate your tickets, contact the ArtsUW Ticket Office prior to your performance at [email protected] or call 206-543-4880.
Does Meany Center have processing fees?
Subscription and group purchases are charged a $12 processing fee per order. Single tickets will be assessed a $6-per-ticket processing fee on mail, phone, web and exchange orders. There is no single ticket processing fee when tickets are ordered with a subscription or purchased at the ArtsUW Ticket Office or the Meany Center Box Office.

Performance FAQs
Is my performance subject to change?
All artists, programs and schedules are subject to change. Ticket holders will be notified by email of any change to artists or performance dates. If we do not have an up-to-date email address, please contact the Ticket Office.
Are children allowed at performances?
Children five years of age or older are welcome at all Meany Center performances. Children under five will not be admitted. Please contact the ArtsUW Ticket Office at 206-543-4880 if you have questions about show content.
Is parking available?
Yes! Meany Hall is located above the Central Parking Garage on the University of Washington Seattle campus.

When does Choose Your Own Series go on sale?

When will my tickets be mailed or emailed to me?
Tickets will be sent out in early August.
Are parking passes available for purchase?
Subscribers may purchase parking passes in advance through September 20. If you lose a parking pass, replacement passes are available. Saturday night parking will remain free this season.

When will I know my seat location(s)?
You will know what seats you have been assigned when you receive your tickets in the mail or via PDF in August.
How do I purchase extra tickets with my subscriber discount?
Add extra tickets with your 10% subscriber discount by clicking the Subscriber Extras link through the Order: Complete page.
Renewing Subscriber FAQs
When is the deadline to renew my subscription?
May 13, 2025 was the deadline to renew and keep your same seats and to be eligible for seating upgrades.

Can I change my seats?
Yes, you may make a seating request online in the Seating Request field or on your paper invoice. Requests are processed in the order in which they're received. The sooner you subscribe, the better chance you will have to receive your request.
If I buy extra tickets in addition to my subscriptions, can I have them seated next to me?
Yes, but there might not be empty seats next to your subscription seats, in which case we will seat your additional singles closest available.
However, if you want to make sure you are sitting together, we can move your subscription seats just for that one event. Make sure to check the 'MOVE MY SUBSCRIPTION SEATS IF NECESSARY TO SEAT WITH ADDITIONAL TICKETS' in the Subscriber Extras section on your subscription form, or add this information in the Seating Request field when renewing online.
I have leftover parking passes. Can I still use those?
Yes! Any parking passes leftover from previous seasons are still valid for use in the Central Plaza Garage.
